Toilet Plumbing Repair

Whether it's clogged toilet repair, running toilet repair, leaking toilet repair, or any toilet plumbing issue that you face.. Call the experts at Advanced Plumbing, Heating, and Air! for your toilet plumbing repair in Vacaville CA and surrounding areas.

Many toilet issues, such as leaking toilets, can be resolved without replacing the entire toilet. A toilet tank, like any other home appliance, has a lot of tiny moving parts that, over time and with use, may need to be changed. Toilet leaks that are not readily apparent to the human eye can be brought on by the wear and tear of flapper valves, fill valves, and other tank components. Toilet leaks at the base can also happen around the wax ring or the toilet gaskets, which are the fasteners that connect the toilet bowl to the tank.

To avoid purchasing a new toilet, our Vacaville plumbers may assist you in locating the cause of toilet leaks and repairing them with high-quality replacement parts.

Toilet Leak Repair

Toilet leaking at the base:  You can have a broken wax ring seal if your toilet is dripping at the base. Water may also be accumulating below the toilet due to a partially clogged toilet drain stack. If the drain stack is clogged, a professional cleaning may be necessary to unclog it. The wax ring must be changed nonetheless since the toilet must be raised for professional cleaning.

Leaking Toilet:  There are many reasons why a toilet can leak as well as a few different ways they leak. The most common type of toilet leak is "a running toilet," which is when water leaks from the tank's flush valve into the bowl. The cause is usually associated with the flapper valve, a pliable rubber valve that is connected by chain to the flush handle. Over time, the soft rubber of the flapper valve will become firm and it might even warp. This prevents the flapper from making a good seal against the flush valve seat, allowing water to leak into the bowl. It's usually a simple fix to replace the flapper valve if you buy a matching replacement. Simply turn off the water supply beneath the toilet. Next, remove the old flapper from the connection pins on the flush valve then disconnect it from the flush handle chain. Put the new one on in its place, making the same connections at the flush valve and chain. Turn on the water supply valve and do a test flush or two.
